Richard Douge

Richard Douge, MD, is Executive Vice President, Global Marketing for Merck Serono.
Dr. Douge is also a member of the Merck Serono Executive Management Board.

Previously Dr. Douge was Managing Director of Merck Santé, France, and prior to that Head of Marketing and Pharma International for Merck Ethicals.  He joined the Merck group in 1989 and has held various positions within the commercial organization in France, Germany and Portugal.

Prior to joining Merck, Dr. Douge worked in sales and marketing for Solvay Duphar and Theraplix, now part of the Sanofi-Aventis Group.

Dr. Douge has a Doctorate in Medicine with a specialization in psychiatry. He attended business school at ESC Paris and EM Lyon.

Dr. Douge is a French national and resident.
